The Agriturismo began its activity in 1991,when Eraclio and Mario Eros Zapponi, with their respective wives Angelica and Marta, and children Donatella, Emanuela and Davide, decided to renovate the old farm outbuildings of Frà Viaco. The Zapponi family has lived and worked in the countryside of Mezzano for many generations, first as farmers then as agricultural entrepreneurs, they are inseparably bound to this land.

During the years the Agriturismo has become more and more complex offering a wider range of services to their clients, this is why the spouses of the young Zapponis, Maurizio, Anna and Stefano, became part of the business.

Today the fourth generation of this family makes its first moves under the watchful gaze of their parents and grandparents: Marco ,Paolo ,Leonardo ,Andrea ,Angelica and little Agnese are those who will guarantee the pursuit of this adventure.

This is our big family, farmers from Valentano since ancestral times.
